STAR WARS AT 35: VADER'S WARDROBE!
Here's some of John Mollo's costume designs for Darth Vader as THE STAR WARS, after many delays and production problems, began gearing up for filming in Tunisia and England from March 1976.
An early prototype costume for the character was constructed from various elements found at the famed London based BERMAN'S AND NATHAN'S costumers (who did a lot of work for the film, and especially for the Rebel and Imperial extras costumes). Were any reference photos ever taken of the Vader prototype? If so, would they even still exist?
