On its mission searching for Luke Skywalker and the Rebel base, an Imperial Probe Droid continues its singular journey across the icy voids of the ice planet Hoth, in a classic scene from THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.
According to J.W. Rinzler's Making of book from 2010, extra scenes not used in the final cut were filmed of the UK built prop on location in Norway, operating its sensor instruments and generally moving about, including a brief moment where it fires on a small snow rodent.
