CLASSIC IMAGE: TESTING BLADES, TESTING SKILLS...


In the Death Star corridor linked to the hangar bay housing the captured Millennium Falcon, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi continues to lock lightsabers with his ominous former pupil Darth Vader, whose strength over him in the Dark Side of the Force adds pressure to their duel. STAR WARS AFICIONADO has always, always loved the first lightsaber duel of the original Star Wars, and certainly commends Frazer Diamond, son of the film's famous and much-respected British stunt coordinator/duel choreographer Peter Diamond, on a recent comment/opinion to those fans that have unfairly criticized the classic sequence over the years, as shown below.
