As contact is now lost with their most trusted senator on Coruscant - an important conversation deliberately severed by outside forces, a dangerous situation brews against the blockaded world of Naboo, of which a young and inexperienced Queen must show strength and resolve against the despicable Trade Federation.
A gorgeous shot from the location filming at the majestic Caserta Palace in Italy during 1997, a more than suitable venue filling in for the Naboo seat of power, and an angle used for EPISODE I returned to with a different Queen for 2000, in scenes required for EPISODE II. Amongst the security guards in the above image would be Roman Coppola, son of George Lucas's long-time friend, and fellow filmmaker, Francis Ford Coppola.
