It's the clothes that maketh the man, as the old saying goes. And that's surely especially true for the unique kind of body armour seen in the Star Wars television universe - notably that striking and formidable composition adorning the enigmatic and deadly bounty hunter Din Djarin, showcased above in a terrific digital art costume rendering for The Mandalorian (from Brian Matyas), worn by actor Pedro Pascal (and his stunt doubles) during the opening episodes of the series, and prior to Djarin's eventual striking solid silver beskar-made armour rebirth given to him by the mysterious clanswoman founder, The Armourer. The old design above celebrates both the original costume worn by iconic fan favourite Boba Fett whilst also clever homage/ referencing other classic costume piece elements from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the Original Trilogy. Adding further to the 'cool factor': the legendary forked energy weapon first wielded by Fett, to such memorable distinction, during The Star Wars Holiday Special of 1978.
