They're seemingly far away from the front line action, yet the raw 'Shinies' stationed at the listening post on one of the Rishi moon's soon find themselves in the thick of battle against a sneak attack force of enemy Separatist battle droids wanting to use the planetoid as a jumping off point to obliterate Kamino. Like their brothers fighting and dying in the Inner Rim, these five soldiers soon prove their worth.

Rookies is a real gem, and a brilliant showcasing of the series long-term potential for diverse, interesting and action-packed storytelling, as well as redefining the popularity and dedicated appeal of the Clone Troopers (of which some of the brave men seen here would continue to appear in future important episodes) for the series and Prequel Trilogy's long-term fan base.
