EPISODE VII: THE POWER BEHIND THE FIRST ORDER!

On the First Order's Super Star Destroyer Finaliser, as Captain Phasma watches from the background, General Hux clashes with Kylo Ren about the possibility of a Clone Army replacing Hux's battle-trained Stormtroopers, in a tense personality clash from THE FORCE AWAKENS.

With all three baddies back for EPISODE VIII, its going to be interesting seeing how their characters will further develop, and what the First Order will do next against the Resistance.

EPISODE VII: A STEALTHY CAPTAIN!

Having detected unusual behaviour from First Order Stormtrooper FN-2187 during his prior actions on Jakku, the statuesque and totally intimidating Captain Phasma is determined to find out what's going on, slowly going up the steps of the newly docked transport towards him, in this unseen moment from THE FORCE AWAKENS.

Phasma is stealthily monitoring FN-2187.

On the set, Gwendoline Christie as Phasma with costume designer Michael Kaplan.

Michael Kogge's Young Readers adaptation of the film establishes that Phasma is annoyed that one of her soldiers, particularly Finn, has gone rogue, and is determined to get some kind of personal retribution- an element in the screenplay that was watered down by the time of filming.

EPISODE VII: STORMTROOPERS OF THE NEW DARK AGE!

On the Super Star Destroyer Finaliser, a First Order command Stormtrooper stands ready, as do a legion of soldiers combat trained for deployment via the shuttles of the vast hangar bay- an intriguing image linked to a deleted moment.

Finn prepares to join the other troopers in the shuttle.

UPDATE: Michael Kogge's Young Readers adaptation of THE FORCE AWAKENS has an early scene where FN-2187 and the First Order Stormtroopers line up to enter the shuttles to Jakku, which tallies with the above still.

EPISODE VII: "WE'RE GONNA DO THIS!"

Playing the old prisoner and escort trick, rogue First Order trooper FN-2187 and Poe Dameron make their way into the Finalizer's main hangar bay and begin their plan to steal a TIE fighter, in this great image from THE FORCE AWAKENS.

Only the right side portion of this image was recreated as a set at Pinewood Studios, the rest was a cgi overlay. Note on the far right the little mouse droid scurrying about!

EPISODE VII: DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY!

SPOILER ALERT: A trio of First Order Stormtroopers, one brandishing a heavy cannon, rush into the main areas of the Finaliser, in an attempt to stop the renegade FN-2187 and the previously captured Poe Dameron from escaping in a TIE fighter, during a soon explosive scene from THE FORCE AWAKENS.
