EPISODE IX: RISE OF THE VILLAINS!

Assembled villainy has never been nastier in the sequel trilogy than with the combined forces of the First Order, under the brutal command of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (with assistance from his onscreen underused Knights and the shady General Hux) and the original First Galactic Empire, under the command of Allegiant General Pryde in the name of the resurgent Emperor Palpatine. The galaxy will quake under their terrifying future plans...

EPISODE IX: BLOWING OFF STEAM!

He may have been captured and restrained by the First Order on Pasaana, but that isn't going to let the mighty Chewbacca let rip against his loathsome enemy General Hux, in this priceless moment from The Rise of Skywalker, though its a shame that our Wookiee hero's painful reuniting with the former Ben Solo on the First Order Star Destroyer was cut. There is, however, a brief moment linked to it within the Michael Kogge-written junior edition film novelisation.

Kylo Ren Tortured Chewbacca in Filmed The Rise of Skywalker Deleted Scene

EPISODE VIl: DESTRUCTIVE PLANS....

From the military environs of the destructive Starkiller Base, watched by Captain Phasma and another officer, the evil General Hux outlines his plans for a vicious first-strike death blow to the New Republic and the Resistance, in this memorable moment from The Force Awakens.

EPISODE IX: PREPARING FOR EXECUTION!

Their mission to rescue Chewbacca has succeeded but also failed, as Finn, Poe and our Wookiee legend are captured and await execution from a seemingly eager General Hux, in another fun moment from The Rise of Skywalker. The revelation that Hux was leaking info to the Resistance was inevitable, though, after the finale events of The Last Jedi involving the rise of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren.

EPISODE IX: BEST OF FRENEMIES!

They may be bitter rivals and enemies onscreen within the First Order, but actors Domhnall Geeson and Richard E. Grant are clearly enjoying their Star Wars filming experiences at a location just outside Pinewood Studios now turned into one of the few tree-lined areas of the volcanic world of Mustafar. A deleted scene at the beginning of The Rise of Skywalker, where General Hux and Allegiant General Prye watch Kylo Ren at his most slaughterous in his mission to find the lost Sith world of Exegol.

The brief scene can be found intact in Rae Carson's recently released 'Expanded Edition' novel adaptation of the film, published in the UK by CENTURY, and available here:

EPISODE IX: EVIL ALLIANCE!

Image by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair magazine.

His ambitions for power and revenge diminished under the constant thumb of the new Supreme Leader Ren, it surely won't be long before the scheming and sneery General Hux will try to take control of the First Order for himself, likely via his association with a new EPISODE IX villain- the surely equally despicable Allegiant General Pryde, as played by an enthused Richard E. Grant, a respected actor who has also been a long-time fan of the saga.

EPISODE VIII: POWER GAMES!

From his vantage point of power, General Hux commands the First Order forces against the last remnants of the Resistance with eager enthusiasm, ready to snuff out the candle of light from Leia Organa's forces once and for all during the events of EPISODE VII.

But all things change, and, with EPISODE IX, Hux's position and power base will seemingly be more fragile than ever around the First Order's new leader in Kylo Ren, possibly with consequences that audiences might never expect. Just what will happen from this uneasy and volatile partnership will prove intriguing come December 2019.

EPISODE VII: TO RETRIEVE THE FALLEN!

On the superbly rendered Starkiller Base snow forest set at Pinewood Studios, J.J. Abrams consults with Domhnall Gleeson and an unhelmeted extras for the shooting of an ultimately deleted scene from The Force Awakens, where Hux and his First Order Trooper escort recover the injured Kylo Ren, upon prior instruction from Supreme Leader Snoke.

Though not in the completed film, the scene can be found in Alan Dean Foster's novel adaptation of VII.

EPISODE VIII: AMBITIOUS RIVALRIES!

The rivalry and dislike between youthful First Order leaders General Hux and the deadly Kylo Ren, in their quest to destroy the Resistance and Luke Skywalker, reaches near breaking point by the end of The Force Awakens, then stretched even further by the game-changing finale events of The Last Jedi.

EPISODE VIII: THE PRICE OF FAILURE!

No place, no matter how far away in time and space, is safe if you fail in your orders for Supreme Leader Snoke, as General Hux soon finds out to physical cost during an eerie and powerful character moment from The Last Jedi that effectively establishing the power and danger of the First Order's villainous leader.

The lack of information on Snoke's origins, and how he became linked to both the Solo family and the New Republic, was a big disappointment for many fans of the new movie. Here's hoping one day that someone like James Luceno will do an official book to fill-in the historical gaps.

EPISODE VIII: WHERE DARK PLANS ARE HATCHED...

Inside his immense First Order flagship, amidst a throne room sea of opulent and powerful red, Supreme Leader Snoke, surrounded by his special guard and General Hux, watches as Kylo Ren makes his entrance, in the a memorable scene from The Last Jedi.

The Praetorian Guard were easily one of the well deserved hits of the film, especially in the striking mid-section epic battle scene they had with Rey and Kylo Ren. EPISODE VIII: TRINITY OF EVIL...

Revenge. Revenge against the Resistance will be the main priority for the main trio of villains comprising the First Order's continuing command structure: sneery General Hux, cruel hearted trooper Captain Phasma, and emotionally unbound leader of the Knights of Ren- Kylo Ren, all reunited unhappily yet happily for saga fans in cinemas this December.

EPISODE VIII: THE HATRED OF HUX!

Playing a deadly game of rivalry and oneupmanship against Kylo Ren for control of the First Order alongside the alien intelligence and dark side abilities of Supreme Leader Snoke, General Hux may be young but his cruelty and loyalty to evil and power is without question. The destruction of the Starkiller Base weapon to a mere small band of Resistance forces will not be forgotten- will he face punishment from Snoke? And how will revenge be exacted on General Leia Organa and her freedom fighters during the upcoming EPISODE VIII?

EPISODE VII: THE POWER BEHIND THE FIRST ORDER!

On the First Order's Super Star Destroyer Finaliser, as Captain Phasma watches from the background, General Hux clashes with Kylo Ren about the possibility of a Clone Army replacing Hux's battle-trained Stormtroopers, in a tense personality clash from THE FORCE AWAKENS.

With all three baddies back for EPISODE VIII, its going to be interesting seeing how their characters will further develop, and what the First Order will do next against the Resistance.
