EPISODE VIII: ENEMY AT THE GATES!

The Battle of Crait has finished and there has been no real victory for any combative side, as the First Order Stormtroopers now break through into the remnants of the former Rebel base there and discover it once more abandoned, in a terrific image from The Last Jedi.

Takodana's take-down by First Order Forces, and their capture of key Resistance prisoners, is soon in explosive disarray, what with the arrival of skilled Resistance fighter pilots led by Poe Dameron, whose colleagues are no longer intimidated by the enemy and ready to fight, in this great behind the scenes image from The Force Awakens filmed on the Pinewood Studios UK backlot.  

'THE FORCE AWAKENS' AT 10: THE UNLIKELY STORMTROOPER!

Stolen away years before from his unknown family on an unknown Outer Rim world, the Stormtrooper known originally only as FN-2187 would soon abandon his armour amidst the shocking brutality and tyranny of the First Order and its spread-out into the New Republic, refusing to kill innocent people on Jakku, and ultimately becoming a key figure of the recently formed Resistance by the conclusion of The Force Awakens, having found a family of sorts in the mysterious Rey of Jakku, courageous and inspiring top fighter pilot Poe Dameron, amiable droid BB-8, and the seasoned smugger and former Rebel general, Han Solo.

And Finn's adventures, played by John Boyega (who made a fine impression in productions like 24 and Attack the Block before being cast in the character), are only just beginning..

CLASSIC IMAGE: CONFLICTS OF INTEREST AND FREEDOM!

He has the ultimate weapon to use in a lightsaber, but new resistance fighter in the raw Finn still has to conquer his dread of combating former fighting partners in the First Order, particularly Stormtroopers who have declared his actions traitorous, in this action-packed sequence set during the siege of Takodana, another key event of The Force Awakens.

EPISODE VII: ATTACK OF THE FIRST ORDER!

Out from the shadows of their secret bases, the First Order Stormtroopers en masse attack the peaceful resistance camp on Jakku, in search of the ultimate clue to discovering the location of their sworn enemy: Luke Skywalker!

Captured on Jakku by the First Order, it's not long before Resistance hero pilot Poe Dameron is ominously brought to the infamous and truly evil Kylo Ren for a brutal interrogation over the location of the missing Luke Skywalker, in an early scene from The Force Awakens.

Who can forget the excitement and anticipation for the return of the Star Wars saga with The Force Awakens during 2015. Iconic artist Drew Struzan's return to the saga for official commission work was certainly one of the showcase memories from that terrific time.

EPISODE IX: DARKNESS COMES!

In the misty forest realms of an unknown world, Kylo Ren's lightsaber savagery knows no bounds, as he and his First Order soldiers take on enemy resistance. An intriguing, violent moment from the EPISODE IX teaser effectively showcasing the return of Adam Driver's immensely popular character.

EPISODE IX: THE LAST HURRAH!

POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT!

This super composition has recently appeared online (possibly leaked via Russia, which we've heard had the earliest merchandise/poster work for Solo: A Star Wars Story) and seems to be the real deal - the first real exciting look - for the teaser or main poster for the upcoming EP IX. It has our heroes in their new costumes- linked to photos that were recently leaked online, alongside all new heroes, aliens and villains (including J.J. Abrams favourite Keri Russell, supposedly as a shady character wearing what the actress calls a 'very cool costume' (right of Oscar Isaac). Plus someone replacing the late Captain Phasma as Stormtrooper leader, Kylo Ren back wearing an all-new helmet and revised lightsaber, plus the welcome return of the Knights of Ren. In the skies, there are some formidable new First Order TIE ships ready for combat against the Y-wing fighters of the Resistance. Finally, how can we not mention Threepio, distinctively, and totally against protocol, hilariously wearing a bandolier and holding what looks like a bowcaster (another rumour that had been doing the online rounds now true, it seems).

Deep inside the bowels of Starkiller Base, the former son of Han Solo now brutal murderer for the cause of the First Order, Kylo Ren, begins his search for Resistance infiltrators, in this great on-set filming image for The Force Awakens.

The battle on Takodana rages on, as fugitive Finn, egged on by Maz Kanata, finally decides to make his stand and fight his former First Order Stormtrooper colleagues with the ancient weapon of his once enemy. But sure enough, a former friend, bitter and ready for payback, soon comes into the path of conflict. A scene of conflict from The Force Awakens strikingly rendered by Brian Rood.

EPISODE VII: HANGAR WAR!

Never expecting to stage a mini war in one of their own docking bays, First Order Stormtroopers do their best to stop a rogue TIE fighter escaping their grasp. A very cool, non-CGI added shot from footage filmed at Pinewood Studios for The Force Awakens in Summer 2014.

Emerging from the Outer Regions, with ambitious plans to reign supreme beyond the legacy of the Galactic Empire, the legions of the First Order begin their attack, led by the fearsome forms of brutal Force-wielder Kylo Ren and the emotionless Captain Phasma, in this lovely promo artwork for The Force Awakens.

EPISODE VIII: FINN AND PHASMA - THE DUELLISTS!

In the original battle for Captain Phasma against her nemesis Finn during The Last Jedi, the fierce chrome warrior may have lost one of her 'fightin' hands', but she didn't perish so whimpishly in the fiery inferno of the Supremacy like she eventually would on screen with the pair's later combat re-shoots. Let's hope a way is somehow found to uniquely resurrect Captain Phasma one last time for EPISODE IX.
