'SOLO': SURVEYING THE PARTY!

Aboard his luxury yacht First Light, now docked on Vandor, the clever and calculating Crimson Dawn crime lord Dryden Vos, flanked by his private guards and having just dealt with the services of the local Imperial Governor, directs his attention to the glamorous party taking place beneath him, prior to a tense meeting with failed entrepreneur Tobias Beckett.

Though seen in a teaser trailer, the above top shot was a brief deleted moment from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

And now it's time to join the party!

'SOLO': TO DEAL WITH A SCOUNDREL...

Still on Vandor, the eager to score success for themselves Han and Chewbacca (aka 'hairy and the boy'), with critical help from Qi'ra and Beckett, encounter the charismatic, talented, but still crooked entrepreneur Lando Calrissian, to whom a right-price deal must be struck quickly to acquire his services and fast ship for travel to Kessel. A fun scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story full of effective dialogue, humour and good character performance moments.

Behind the scenes on the partial reshooting of the sequence.

It's also a scene genuinely honouring (if transferred to a space fantasy environment) the kind of atmospheric, cold and frosty western township vibe seen in popular seventies genre films like the Warren Beatty cult classic McCabe and Mrs Miller, a primary creative example for Solo's Vandor-set tone by its original directors, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

'SOLO': THE BLASTER SHOWDOWN!

He's shown his true colours and stolen the valuable coaxium haul from his former criminal paymasters, now Tobias Beckett must face off against the betrayed young, reckless and cocky space pilot he once genuinely liked and saw potential in: Han Solo, in a memorable scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story, and an image that's very old American West gunslinger in its visual creation.

'SOLO': THE ROBOTS OF KESSEL!

They've been dutiful, if controlled, servants to the evil Pyke Syndicate servants controlling the Spice Mines of Kessel, but it won't be long before droid revolutionary L3-37 releases her droid companions from bondage and into action as part of a huge slave rebellion, as witnessed in the lively events of Solo: A Star Wars Story.

A fiery L3-37 begins the revolution!

'SOLO': WOOKIEE PAYBACK!

As revolution breaks out from one of the deep caves of the infamous Kessel's key spice mining facilities, Han Solo and his party are supported in their perilous journey back to the besieged Millennium Falcon, with their volatile new cargo, by a small and malnourished party of wookiee prisoners, led by the heroic Tak Sagwa, now gamely out for revenge on their cruel overlords. A stirring action moment from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

C'mon, Disney, let's get that much-wanted Han Solo TV mini-series made already!

'SOLO': A MAN WITH A PLAN!

As Hollywood rumours surface indicating that some kind of series is now in the early planning stages for Han Solo and Chewbacca at Disney, let's hope that Alden Ehrenreich (seen in this early film marketing image) has an opportunity for involvement alongside the Corellian's original incarnation in Harrison Ford, having done such a prior noteworthy job in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

'SOLO': LABYRINTH DANGER!

Breaking the speed record in navigating the Kessel Run is one thing, actually getting out of it alive is another, as Han Solo and his motley crew of thieves inside the Millennium Falcon discover in this great art for the limited edition Mondo double vinyl LP release of John Powell's rather excellent score for the still criminally under-appreciated anthology adventure Solo: A Star Wars Story.
