REBELLION AND EMPIRE - 'ANDOR' WILL SOON BE HERE...

The new teaser poster revealed at the recent Celebration event.

With what looks set to be the most ambitious and biggest scale collation of interplanetary drama, action and character arc weaving ever attempted (so far) for a Star Wars TV series (and with a second season already planned), creator/writer Tony Gilroy and star Diego Luna's upcoming Andor series, leading up to the Rebel hero's sacrificial bravery in Rogue One- A Star Wars Story, looks intriguing, as things gear up for its August 31st, 2022 airdate, exclusively on Disney+.

'INDY V' - THE FIRST TEASER POSTER REVEALED!

Sadly, there was no sign of a trailer for the upcoming Indy V, or a title reveal, but there was a barely- revealing-anything teaser poster (artist unknown) and at least the thousands of fans present at Celebration Anaheim, and the rest of the online community got to experience a surprise drop-in visit from Harrison Ford, promoting the film alongside Kathleen Kennedy,. Frank Marshall and director James Mangold. Even better, it came after a fun reprisal of the iconic Raiders theme by John Williams and his orchestra, played on the composer's 90th birthday, of which Ford beautifully celebrated and honoured Williams - the man and his work - with his appearance.

CELEBRATING 'CELEBRATION 2016'

Entry banner to the London ExCeL Centre for STAR WARS CELEBRATION 2016.

"Will any Skywalkers, Han Solos and Princess Leias alighting this train please make sure that they take their lightsabers with them. Thank you."

And so said a droll and very British Docklands Light Railway transport officer, as fans from across the world gathered for the latest CELEBRATION pilgrimage in London. As AFICIONADO prepares its continued coverage from the lively and ultimately very well organised three-day event, which truly had something for every generation of fan, here's a selection of Scott Weller's photos captured from some of its best panels and areas of interest.
