'SOLO': THAT SPACE-AGE MAN ABOUT TOWN LOOK!

Lando's not a system he's a man, Han Solo would later say of the eventual Baron Calrissian of Bespin to Princess Leia. Yet Lando certainly possesses an entire solar system of colourful, stylish and downright wacky clothes and capes in his wardrobe, as seen above in one of the great posed character images of Donald Glover's playing the icon role, from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Note the fun Ralph McQuarrie referencing on his shirt, to the unused Sicemon planet air taxi from Return of the Jedi.

CLASSIC ART: McQUARRIE'S 'REBELS'

An early concept design for the farming/grassland world of Sicemon, originally to have been home to a Rebel base, where our heroes gather to plan their final attack on the Emperor- ultimately cut from REVENGE OF THE JEDI, and the important story points of its scenes transferred to deep space instead- and which may now be gaining new life within the exciting animated series REBELS, being heavily influenced by McQuarrie's great talents for the Classic Trilogy, coming soon from LUCASFILM ANIMATION- set in the exciting period of Rebellion versus Empire between EPISODEs III and IV.
