One of the last US poster releases, for Fandango.

The final Indiana Jones film has now arrived on all Home Media formats from December 4th, 2023 - alongside a brand new feature-length documentary on Harrison Ford in Timeless Heroes, airing exclusively on Disney+ - of which I'm sure its fans will be delighted to add it to their collection.

'INDY V' NEWS: EARLY JUNE 2023

His final cinematic adventure is almost upon us, as Harrison Ford's iconic whip-crack-away hero gets involved in a unique time travel related adventure. Old dogs new tricks, as the saying going, and nobody does it better than Indy...coming to UK cinemas a little early than the US, on June 28th, 2023.

INDY V: INDY AND BASIL - FRIENDS IN ADVENTURE EXTRAORDINAIRE!

Harrison Ford and Toby Jones captured by the press during Scottish location filming for Indy V.

Soon to become a lifelong obsession, Professor Basil Shaw's interest in the legendary 'Dial of Destiny' device takes him (accompanied by his good friend in fellow archeologist Indiana Jones) into a spectacular European conflict against the evil Nazi's, who, like the Lost Ark they once sought, are continuing their zealous quest in acquiring powerful antiquities to use in winning World War II. The beginning of Indiana Jones V, surely both a last hoorah for the younger exploits of our titular hero and a prelude to the implications the Dial brings to his older self, may prove the best sequence of the upcoming installment.

Train dangers, Nazi problems!

Accomplished British actor Toby Jones is a fine casting choice for the movie, already notably appearing in franchises like Marvel's Captain America, and The Hunger Games.

'INDY V': LATEST NEWS (MID-MAY 2023)

Movie poster art by Tony Stella.

Officially the longest running movie of the series (clocking-in at a whip-cracking 2 hrs 24 mins, no less!), Indy V will soon be debuting at this year's glossy and elitist Cannes Film Festival (out of competition), and we look forward to hearing early reviews, which we're sure will be most positive.

'INDY V': WELCOME BACK, SALLAH!

"Give 'em hell, Indiana Jones!"

The ever loyal friend to Indiana Jones, Sallah has been on many epic adventures with the fortune and glory seeker over thirty years, especially linked to his Cairo home location. The ominous shadow of retirement now seemingly looms for the pair, but an encounter with the mysterious Dial of Destiny will surely beckon one further important quest for Sallah's greatest friend.

It's great to see one of the UK's finest character actors, John Rhys-Davies, back in one of his most beloved screen roles.

I'm sure the return of Sallah will be a part of the Indy V coverage within the latest issue of the UK's Total Film magazine, available in shop and subscribers issue covers.
