CLASSIC INDY: WHIP-CRACK AWAY!

He sadly wielded his infamous bullwhip very few times during the globe-trotting search for the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (and there was at least one deleted scene moment too!), yet our brilliant archaeologist Indiana Jones did at least put it into action for the film's marketing campaign, as seen in this release merchandise/promotional campaign of Indy IV, also featuring Shia LeBouef as the rapier handling Mutt.

CLASSIC INDY: THE DANGER-MAKERS!

They've escaped their bonds and taken control of a truck, now Marion, Indy and Mutt must race against time to recapture the alien Crystal Skull head from Spalko and her squad deep in the heart of the Amazon. Thankfully, wherever Indy goes, he always manages to find something handy to make use of! Indy gets to discover the complexities, and occasional joys, of fatherhood alongside his newly revealed son 'Mutt' Williams, as Shia LeBouef and Harrison Ford have fun posing for a special publicity image used for the UK EMPIRE magazine's subscribers only cover celebrating 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

They may have currently avoided Irina Spalko's forces thanks to Marion's plucky ingenuity, but now Indy and friends must endure three extremely hazardous to your health waterfall drops in a fun sequence filmed at both Hawaii and on the Universal Studios Backlot for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

He's unintentionally led Indy into a trap, and now Mutt is taking our mature hero on a spin through academia streets in order to avoid their thuggish pursuers, for a speedy chase scene from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, a film which celebrated its landmark Tenth Anniversary this weekend!

CLASSIC INDY: LIKE FATHER...?

He emerged like a Marlon Brando-esque figure from the smog of a railway track to ask for Indy's help, then a short time later our intrepid hero discovers that troubled biker/mechanic youth Mutt Williams is his son as they embark on a mission to locate the missing professor Harold Oxley! How's that for a family revelation!

CLASSIC INDY: ALONG FOR THE RIDE!

With The Last Crusade, Indy had reunited and newly bonded with his once missing father to great acclaim and box office results. Back in 2007, the behind the scenes team on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull wanted to continue giving Harrison Ford more opportunities for fun and characterisation as the older Indiana Jones, this time via the introduction of a fiery hothead son, Henry Jones, Jr., as played by then rising star Shia LeBouef, plus the important return of Indy's complex, loving-yet-sparring relationship with old flame Marion Ravenwood - once more played by the ever delightful Karen Allen - that would be much welcomed by the fan base.
