'SOLO': READY FOR MY CLOSE-UP!

On location in the Canary Islands.

To play the younger version of an established icon character as Han Solo was a challenge that young rising star Alden Ehrenreich ultimately took on with pleasing gusto, delivering a fine performance of vulnerability and cocky assuredness that the character's onscreen originator Harrison Ford would ultimately approve of by the time that Solo: A Star Wars Story was released in 2018.

'SOLO': THE BLASTER SHOWDOWN!

He's shown his true colours and stolen the valuable coaxium haul from his former criminal paymasters, now Tobias Beckett must face off against the betrayed young, reckless and cocky space pilot he once genuinely liked and saw potential in: Han Solo, in a memorable scene from Solo: A Star Wars Story, and an image that's very old American West gunslinger in its visual creation.

'SOLO': THE FIGHTING OPTION!

With all the troubles and dangers they've had getting the raw coaxium out from the spice mines of Kessel, there's no way Han Solo's gonna let the valuable and neck-saving consignment get taken by those 'marauders' led by Enfys Nest, as seen in this great cowboy-esque visual moment from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

'SOLO': HEIGHTENED INSTINCTS...

'SOLO': THE FIRST 'I KNOW'!

They only just got out of Kessel alive, he's been shot, and his beloved, highly polished Millennium Falcon has almost become a flying scrap pile. Lando Calrissian hates Han Solo for all that's happened to him and his ship, and tells him so, then gets a now classic response from the Corellian prior best known and used to equally great effect in The Empire Strikes Back. An inspired little comedy moment from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Filming the scene on location in Spain.

'SOLO': A PARTING OF THE WAYS?

Newly arrived - and in true lightspeed nick-of-time - at the now little-used galactic processing station at Savareen, Han Solo has an in-the-making plan to double cross Dryden Vos with the Kesel hyperfuel. But can he rely on help from an unsure Tobias Beckett?

'SOLO': INTRODUCING THE MILLENNIUM FALCON!

The fastest ship in the galaxy: the Millennium Falcon!

She'll later be called 'garbage' and a 'bucket of bolts', but the Millennium Falcon of Solo: A Star Wars Story is in far better, nay immaculate, shape whilst looked after by its then custodian in gambler and smooth operator Lando Calrissian. Immaculate shape, that is, until she catches the attentions and desire of a certain rising star pilot called Han Solo, who'll literally take the snappy cargo freighter through all kinds of hell and back in the years to come.

The Falcon from above.

ILM concept reference model created by Alex Hutchings.

Stationed at an exotic gambling haven.

'Imperial entanglements!'

Speeding for survival!

Heading to an important destination.
