Yep, in my own personal mindset that just about sums up that odious creep Simon Pegg, causing grief and insult specifically to George Lucas, who really doesn't deserve it- the creator of STAR WARS who should be applauded and respected for creating a saga and then actually letting other people get to play in it and expand it to the kind of frenzied anticipation we're experiencing with THE FORCE AWAKENS. Now that's a move both professional and very generous. This is the kind of needless garbage from Pegg, acting thoroughly unprofessionally and obnoxiously in my opinion, that's just not needed, and at the wrong time- just when we want to feel good about the entire STAR WARS saga in general. It's also an insult not only to Lucas but the huge amount of talent in front of and behind the cameras that worked on those Prequel endeavours, and its oh-so-loyal fanbase. Makes me feel sad to be a British STAR WARS fan. Constructive criticisms of the Prequels, fine. But Pegg's just being nasty...
I'm quite amazed that Kathleen Kennedy, such a long-time friend to Lucas, and inheritor of the LUCASFILM flame, allows this derogatory crap from someone now (apparently) involved in some of the creative decisions linked to EPISODE VII.
