EPISODE VIII:THE MYTH BEARERS...
At Pinewood Studios, London, writer/director Rian Johnson, his long-time producing partner Ram Bergman and Keeper of the STAR WARS Franchise in Kathleen Kennedy go through a sequence being filmed for The Last Jedi set on the Resistance cruiser Raddus. Impressed with Johnson's creativity and amiable personality, it wasn't long before Kennedy would offer him the keys to the creation of an all-new trilogy, featuring all-new heroes and villains, coming by 2020/21, beyond the legend originally created by George Lucas.
Will the trio's future endeavours live up to the standard bearer that is the original legacy?
Time will tell...

EPISODE VIII: SAND WAR!
They've heavily outnumbered and heavily outgunned, but that won't stop what's left of the Resistance from keeping the spark of rebellion alive against the evil First Order, as this stirring and planet evocative conceptual art piece of the ski speeders from the Battle of Crait defiantly shows, rendered by The Last Jedi's visual effects artist Kevin Jenkins. The film's epic finale battle, as well as the bright lights of the Canto Bight casino and the rain battered islands of Ahch-To, are well showcased within the gorgeously illustrated and highly informative The Art of Star Wars:The Last Jedi book, compiled by Phil Szostak, out now from ABRAMS.

EPISODE VIII: FEELING THE FORCE!
'Lesson Number One' in Luke's unique teaching of the Jedi way and the Force to Rey begins with a striking and memorable sequence where the student stretches out her feelings to enjoy and experience the nature of the universe and the unique balance of good and evil, beauty and ugliness, held in flow within it.
This must be the closest scene yet inside the STAR WARS saga to capture the power and enigma of combined life and the Force as originally explained by Master Yoda to Luke during The Empire Strikes Back.

EPISODE VIII: THE CLEAN-UP CREW!
Everyone loved the Porgs in The Last Jedi. But AFICIONADO was equally fond of the Ahch-To 'Caretakers' - totally diligent in their duties at preserving the first Jedi Temple on one of their sea planet's primary islands, and always understandable frustrated by Rey's continual damage to the landscape and ancient huts, during her albeit brief lessons in the Force by Luke Skywalker. Credit due to Rian Johnson's creativity in how they worked so well in the finished film...

At least one deleted scene featuring the unique race, en masse with Rey, will be seen on the upcoming Blu-ray release, expected at the end of March/early April 2018.
EPISODE VIII: WHERE DARK PLANS ARE HATCHED...
Inside his immense First Order flagship, amidst a throne room sea of opulent and powerful red, Supreme Leader Snoke, surrounded by his special guard and General Hux, watches as Kylo Ren makes his entrance, in the a memorable scene from The Last Jedi.

EPISODE VIII: LUKE SKYWALKER - BEYOND THE POWERS OF A JEDI!
SPOILERS!
He's seemingly arrived on Crait in the nick of time- just when his sister and the Resistance she once commanded has reached its lowest ebb, and near-extinction point. In this time of great crisis, the last (?) Jedi takes powerful and spiritual action against the First Order and his once pupil Kyo Ren, and, for better or worse, things will never truly be the same again for the STAR WARS saga.
A spectacular piece of commercial merchandise art by Brian Rood celebrating a genuinely awesome sequence for The Last Jedi, showcasing our favourite George Lucas created character - the hero that was and the hero he will always be, in a role so consistently well played by Mark Hamill.
