Two ELSTREE technicians become Luke and Han atop a Stuart Freeborn team created Tauntaun prop, for a costume/reference test prior to the film's ambitious and weather hostile Norway location shoot in March 1979. Note that Han Solo's costume was originally created for use by Harrison Ford within a studio and later proved completely impracticable in sustaining heat in Finse.
