Filmed under top secret conditions at ELSTREE STUDIOS, and referred to on certain 1982 behind the scenes call sheets as "The Man", respected British actor Sebastian Shaw dons a Darth Vader costume for his filmed scenes playing the dying Anakin Skywalker opposite Mark Hamill. Within that brief shooting period, Sebastian Shaw would also be filmed wearing Jedi robes and later superimposed onto a separately shot sequence with Sir Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan and the Yoda puppet for RETURN OF THE JEDI's final celebratory scenes.
