EPISODE VII: DESTINY OF A DROID

On the backlot at Pinewood Studios, J.J. Abrams prepares to put the remote controlled Artoo Detoo through his paces on an alien planet whose busy atmosphere will be added in post production. Behind Artoo is EPISODE III co- ILM effects coordinator, and trusted veteran of Abrams STAR TREK films, Roger Guyett.

This particular scene has been heavily rumoured to be of very specific importance to THE FORCE AWAKENS, possibly part of a one-of-a-kind flashback (with a new spin reference to A New Hope), or towards the end of the movie and the return of Luke Skywalker? Or is just a smoke screen for the so far unrevealed character played by Max Von Sydow?

Is this Mark Hamill with R2, or possibly Max Von Sydow?
