CLASSIC INDY: CUSTODIAN AND PROTECTOR!

As Indy continues his brutal bare-knuckle fight against the formidable Russian bulk that is Dovchenko, the lovable but barely sane Harold Oxley keeps his eye on the prize - the Crystal Skull, using its power to stop the approaching ground storm of killer ants, in a fun moment from INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL.

STAR WARS AFICIONADO remembers the much-liked and respected British character actor Sir John Hurt (1940 - 2017), who not only relished his role in the Indiana Jones franchise, but was beloved in other high quality sci-fi/fantasy- the likes of ALIEN, HARRY POTTER and the modern version of TV's DOCTOR WHO. His other work across film and small screen genres was equally high-quality, admirable and unforgettable, from playing the insane Emperor Caligula in I, CLAUDIUS, to the noble yet afflicted John Merrick in THE ELEPHANT MAN.

RIP, Mister Hurt.
