GOODBYE, J.W. RINZLER...

One of pop culture's most respected film historians and original novelists, J.W. Rinzler's passing on July 28th, 2021, after his brave battle against cancer, has been announced today. SWA, as well as all Star Wars fans worldwide (forever treasuring his wonderful books particularly devoted to the making of the Original Trilogy), will greatly miss Mister Rinzler's clear talent, subtle presence and all-round genial and insightful personality.

Our greatest condolences go out to his family and friends in this truly sad and difficult time. His superior work will endure...

It's highly unlikely in happening, but wouldn't it be a nice tribute to Mister Rinzler's Star Wars work if Disney/Lucasfilm released his previous shelved yet completed book dedicated to the making of The Force Awakens?
