The late John Alvin's three lovely pieces for the mid-nineties STAR WARS VHS releases prove an excellent way to celebrate the STAR WARS saga's birthday today. As a new direction for the franchise looms from the considerable pairing of JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy, lets not forget the original, incredible epic work created by George Lucas that remains cinema's greatest fantasy creation.
