Her hilarious dreams of Princess Leia having some fun quality time outside of fighting the Empire - of going shopping at an intergalactic boutique or getting a well deserved manicure - may ultimately have never happened on screen, but at least the ever witty and always game Carrie Fisher eventually managed to bring some wackiness to her alter-ego character, alongside some of the classic RETURN OF THE JEDI characters, for a now legendary ROLLING STONE magazine cover beach shoot during 1983, which brought sunshine to readers and fans despite the issue's overall indicating what many thought was the then end of the saga, via a "burnt-out", emotionally fatigued George Lucas.
