HAPPY THIRTY-THIRD BIRTHDAY, 'RETURN OF THE JEDI'
It may have been called RETURN OF THE JEDI, but the film could also have been called RETURN OF THE VILLAINS, what with our favourite caped Force user Darth Vader, desperate to find his son and turn him to the Dark Side, plus our finally getting to see the dreaded Emperor beyond his brief facial holograph appearance in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, accompanied by the lethal crimson Royal Guards, and the oft-mentioned, now fully realized and unforgettable super-slug bad guy/with Jabba the Hutt. This final film in the Classic Trilogy couldn't have had a better, nor iconic, array of evildom, as presented in this lovely unused poster concept art from 1983.
