Luke Skywalker goes on the offensive against Jabba the Hutt's blaster-wielding things atop the Sail Barge, in this great specially posed publicity image taken for Return of the Jedi in Yuma, Arizona at the end of filming there in April 1982. Whilst most of the cast and crew were now en transit to the California Redwoods for Endor sequences, Mark Hamill stayed behind an extra day to get these special posed images for an on-set photographer- one of which would become very famous in merchandising. Note the partial stunt lightsaber blade handle Hamill has in this rare outtake image- the lightsaber blade would be lined up and airbrushed on later.
