With the introduction of irascible droid K-2SO earlier than planned in ROGUE ONE's storytelling- via the liberation of Jyn Erso from the Imperial labour camp world of Wobani (handled in extra material/ re-shoots last year), the resultant after effects on the film's editing structure likely resulted in this Jedha set moment of humour between the two, seen in one of the early trailers, becoming a deleted scene casualty.
